Happy Birthday to Pixie!

Pixie Turned 1 on December 15, 2008. We had a little party with her favorite pals!

....Bang Bang, Shoot Shoot

Happiness was a warm gun on Black Friday. We decided to fore-go the shopping and play with Black Powder. The Twede kids and Dad, drove out to the sticks to give the arsenal a go.

How busy can one girl be?

It's ALL about variety and freedom to govern one's time for miss.cami-ann
Currently, I am working as....
1) an admin for The Law Firm of Erik C. Paulsen. (He does wills, trusts, estate planning,as well as setting up new business contracts, etc.)
2) I was hired for the ultimate GRUNT JOB, at the ultimate design company called 3form Their work is AMAZING, and I hope to move up to a more dignified position there.
3) Lastly, I am still working for my Dad at Twede Photography on an a-la-carte basis, when he has need of assistance for big shoots. (He's a Pro Photographer, btw) This is an image we shot last week for "PRO-FORM", and yes. That is me on the machine.
In addition, I am shooting Wedding Photograpy, so PLEASE refer me to all those twitterpated loved ones and friends out there. Splendor Studio. Along with the photography, I am also doing a lot of Fine Art and Design work, not only for my sanity, but for extra change on the side. This can be found on the Splendor Studio Site as well.....and please excuse the mess.....making the site look pretty is unfortunately not topping my priorities lately.

Tom is still working as the Marketing Director for a software company in SLC, called Compliance Information Systems. He created this amazing logo and website for them. Pretty amazing. He is also picking up other design jobs on the side, mostly doing websites for people.

Pixie is still as adorable as ever! We took her up to the Cabin with all of Tom's Family in September. She had a GREAT time!
She's still a Naughty little Stink sometimes!

Art is EVERYWHERE!

So, This past Saturday was a bit of a disappointment. I had been scheduled to shoot a wedding that day for the past 2 months. I called the groom to confirm directions, and he said they had decided NOT to have a photographer! SO Lame for one, and secondly, I didn't bother to get any money down, as the groom is a friend of my Dad's. I learned that lesson the hard way! Instead of making it into a big drama, I decided to make lemonade out of lemons. Me and a friend went downtown with our SLR's (prof. camera's). We took some awesome photos, and it helped me realize that art is literally EVERYWHERE. Just think of all the amazing works of art that grace our little planet. It is truly amazing.

I haven't posted in a while..... Life get's busy like that at times. I quit my lame job, and decided I would be better off taking over my sister, Whitney's job for a lawyer, and working the rest of the time for myself. I am in the process of getting a website up that incorporates all that is, cami bay. I call it "Splendor Studio". The site will hopefully be up soon. It will include my photography (mostly wedding's I've shot) as well as my artwork and design projects. My mantra is; "Cami Bay, your on-demand creative superhero". Please keep this in mind, if you happen to know anyone getting married, or in need of design work or fine art! Tommy has been AWESOME! He designed my logo, and is also working very hard to get the site completed. More to come.....
